Join Us! September 18th at Water Works Park, 5133 Groh Lane, Fairfield, Ohio

Did you know that every day an average of 6,000 people, mostly children, die in developing countries due to lack of clean water, sanitation and knowledge of basic hygiene practices? It is statistic that Water For People is trying to change and you can be involved. Water For People is an organization that works in developing countries such as India, Mexico, and Africa to install local sustainable drinking water resources, sanitation facilities, health and hygiene education programs. They strive to create long-lasting changes by working with local governments to train and educate these communities to maintain the systems that they implement.

  

You can join in the cause by signing up for the Race for Global Water 5k event at Water Works Park in Fairfield, Ohio! You can do it alone, get your organization to join the corporate or utility challenge, or bring the family. There will be a 12 and under free mini-loop run for the kids, along with games, awards, music, post-race refreshments and education exhibits.
