Butler County Water Festival The annual Butler County Children's Water Festival, held at Miami University of Hamilton, engages approximately 1,000 4th, 5th and 6th graders with exciting hands - on activities to teach them all about the importance of water! The issues range from information about our local aquifer to the impact that our decisions have in conserving our natural resources for the world around us. The Ground Water Consortium, along with such agencies as The Cincinnati Zoo, Raptors Inc, Miami Conservancy District and more come together to create an exciting festival that gets children interested in the environment, water and natural sciences while having fun along the way! Join us at our next water festival Friday October 15, 2010. If you are a teacher interested in bringing students or are interested in being part of the team, either as a presenter or volunteer, please contact: Tim McLelland
